I have changed my hair style

Hi everyone! I want to get your honest opinion about something. Believe me, it won't hurt my feelings, I want the truth.
I changed my hair style a few months ago but haven't changed my profile picture. I am going to upload a recent picture of me with this discussion so you can see what it looks like.
I'm not trying to be vain, but I want to know if this hair style makes me look older. I had worn my hair short for several years then decided to try letting it grow out again. My husband says he likes it long but he likes it short also LOL. I asked him last night which he likes better and he said "Whatever is economically better for you." I'm not quite sure what he meant LOL but I'm beginning to think he likes it better short and just didn't want to hurt my feelings, he is really precious!!So here is my question: Do you think my hair looks better in this new style or do you think it looks better the way it is in my profile picture? I will still remain blonde. Trust me, I want honesty and you will remain my friend no matter what!! I think the world of you all!!Thanks so much!!!SheliaLee

Hi sheilalee. The short style on you is fabulous. I think the longer style makes you look a bit fluffy but the short style is "tres chic"! If I may also add, the colour white you are wearing in the photo with your Mum is not right for you. A white with a touch of yellow is best for you...an off white not a stark blue white.

I appreciate your honesty MsTickle, that is exactly what I wanted. I went ahead and got it cut again, it is still curling some around my face but it is shorter than what it was. Thanks so much for responding. :-)

Thank you hon, I appreciate your honesty. Actually, that dress is off white LOL. I think the camera flash was what made it look white. But I will definitely remember what you said. :-) Take care!!

I can't decide SheliaLee as I think you suit both styles, short and a little longer. I think both pictures lookg GREAT!

That is sweet of you and I appreciate your response very much. I sort of felt silly after starting this discussion but I try to look my best whenever I am out, not to be vain, but I just like my hair to look decent LOL!!

I do too SheliaLee and try to look my best when I'm out and about as well. I don't like my hair to be in a mess, even though at times it is :)

Thanks Lucy!! I like my bangs that way too, I can't stand for them to be in my face LOL. I have changed the style again, and it is sort of a mix between the two. It is shorter, but I still have the curling around my face. I'm not able to make it look as good as the hair stylist, but maybe if I keep working with it I can get there. It is not real long but it isn't real short either. I'll get my daughter to take another picture soon and upload it here. Thanks!!!

Hi Amber!! Actually I have lost weight hon. When my profile picture was made I weighed about 300 pounds I'm ashamed to say but I am now down to about 239. We haven't been eating out as much and I have been drinking lots more water and apparently it is working. Those are the only two things I have been doing different so that is the only way I can think of that has caused me to lose.
You like the longer hair style? I like it but it makes me look so much too like my grandmother, which I don't mind, I just don't want to look older than what I am. I hope that doesn't sound vain. I'm 47 and I don't want to look like 60 LOL.

I like both and usually I am prejudiced in favor of longer hair lol but in your case I just think the shorter style goes better with the shape of your face!

Thanks Dawn!!! I just responded to another lady and told her that I changed my style again LOL!! It isn't long but it isn't too short either. I still have it curling around my face but the back is a lot shorter. I get so aggravated when I can't get it to look just like my hair stylist gets it, but I just keep on trying. :-) Talk to you soon!!
