I am not a book reader, never have been! One of my co-workers brought in The Lost Boy...i started reading and got hooked. I went to the library and got The Child Called It and The Lost Boy. Wow were those amazing books I was stuck to them reading like crazy i couldn't help it. Its been years that i can visually see something when i read it. The book tunes your emotions and feelings as well. I can't wait to get the other two books he has A Man Named Dave and there is one more but i forgot the name of it. Just absolutely wonderful books.

My husband suggested "A Child Called It" to me when we were in the book section one day. I decided to buy it and when I got home, I could not put it down! I read the whole thing in one day, and I really want to read the other books by Pelzer as well. It is such a sad book...He writes in a way that I almost felt like I was in the room with him, wanting to help get him out of his terrible situation...
