Do you have a friend that you can confide in?

I recently realized that I have no one that I can totally confide in. I mean a good friend that I can tell all things to, and know that they will keep it to themselves. When you are a kid, you have a best friend, someone who knows everything about you. Now, here I am all grown up, and I have no friends that I can trust absolutely. So, how about you? Do you have that friend?

I do have someone, thankfully. About 4 years ago I met her and she is like family. Before that I didn't have anyone. By bestfriend and I lost touch back in 2001 and I don't know why. I was having kids and she was trying to have kids, so I don't know if that is why we lost contact. I miss her, we were friends for 20 years. I am hoping one day we will reconnect. I met my friend outside of school waiting for our kids to be dismissed each day.

I do, I can count them all on one hand. I have three best friends. One I have had since college, one from from first job out of college and my husband. I have other friends, really goods ones that help and support me, but as far as someone who really knows me and my past. That's just a select few.

My best friend is my husband. I rely on him and I tell him everything. I do have another best friend who lives far away from me. When we get a chance to talk we share everything. If one of us is terribly upset we call or email the other. I'm fortunate to have her and to have my husband.

I am lucky because my best friend has been in my life for 25 years (since the first grade). We now live about 5 hours apart, but we still talk frequently and I can tell her absolutely everything. A lot of people don't have friendships like that.
