Molly has a new eating habit

LOL Yuck! As long as you are happy that is cool but I think I would tell Tia to get lost! She loves to go to bed with my other half - ever since I haven't been able to sleep in the same bed with him - she thinks it is her right to be there now and gets quite indignant if he doesn't let her! xxx

Terry - It is obvious that your animals missed you and love you. There's nothing wrong with dry food on the bed covers. I'm sure once you are up and around and your Molly gets back into her regular routine things will go back to normal. Right now, I'm sure she wants to be as close to you as possible, and that's really a good thing, as she will keep you company. Take care and get well soon.

lol That's cute she wants her food on the bed. Tigger always wants to eat out of my hand, one piece at a time, if I let him but I just don't have the time to sit on the floor with him for 20min. 3x a day to hand feed him. He will beg and pester for a while till he realizes mommy isn't giving in then go eat his food out of the self-feeder. I will hand feed him his treats thou.

Aww...that's so sweet that Molly wants to take care of her mom...Isn't it nice to know we are loved by our "babies"? I notice that whenever I'm not feeling too keen that my two kitties seem to cuddle up to me more on my bed, like they're protecting me or something and just trying to make me feel better.

Awwww Let Maggie up too!! She wants to be with you too!! Molly needs to learn to share. I've taught my cats to tolerate each other or none will get me. lol I can't help it, I love them all and want them all to feel safe. No pun intended hon...

maybe she is insecure, and competing for your love with maggie. pets are like little children. so far, my cat acts like a normal regular cat, enjoy my bed all day as well as sitting in window seats and watching outdoor activities. at night, he gets hyper and active, and he starts climbing everything, running around, and jumping around, as if it is party time. then he comes and sits by me, whether i am sitting on the couch, watching tv, or at the computer typing. yesterday, after his breakfast, he vomited his fancy feast food. i think it was probably the hot weather.

Aww poor Maggie Well I will not talk about Gissi's habits weird or not lol I think you know some of them but eating on my bed is not one of them apart from hiding his Chewy in my Bed and not letting me in my bed at Night because it is there

She is nursing you. Maybe she wants to share her food with you. I am just guessing. I am sure she will eat on the ground when is hungry, but someone wants to spoil her....lol My older dog likes to eat from my hand once a while. I do spoil my pets but they spoil me too....

Though I don’t keep any cat at present I still understand how intimate our pet cat together with us as I had kept a lovely Siamese cat, Mimi before. Since after surgery you couldn’t feed Molly as usual so definitely she would jump up your bed and asked to have her food beside you. I think she wanted to spend more time with you as she had missed you for quite some time. My Mimi was very fond of awakening me while I was sleeping late in the night as if she needed a companion lol.....

Rotflmao I cannot even begin to tell you how neurotic my cat and dog are. They are both approaching their senior years, but in very good health. But man they are out of their minds. What one is not getting into the other is :))) We have had both since a pup and a kitten, I guess our craziness has rubbed off on them.

The only weird thing about my pets' eating habits is that they want nothing but meat.After all,dogs and cats are originally carnivores.

I have several cats that sleep with me, but they can just eat from their bowls/or the jug if they want to eat. I just don't have time to pamper one much more than any of the other! Of course, with 20 odd cats....

hi terry, I only have fish but my mom had a cat that had such a personality. The cat would eat photos. kind of weird. Also when my mom became bedridden, he had to be right there on her bed with her. He also ate on the bed. He just needed to be right with her and she with him. I am convinced that they really do have feelings. This cat would hiss at me if I sat on the end of her bed. So cute.

My cat used to sleep with me. My mom does not really lie cats because she is allergic with the fur. And I cannot resist to have cats with me when I go to sleep. I really love cats. Even though they have weird habits...sometimes they show that they love us. We can see this through their actions and eating habits. I used to have many cats but now when we moved to new house...I had to leave all my cats on the streets. I really miss them.
