Scrapbooking blogging ideas

So, I am in need of ideas for blogging on my scrapbooking site. I have been so busy lately running around and building my business, that my fun stuff is not getting the attention it needs. And I've been asked to be on an internet broadcast next month to talk about scrapbooking, so I'm feeling the pressure of getting more content out there. What is it that you want to know about scrapbooking (specificly) and/or papercrafting/cardmaking (in general)? There is just so much out there that it can hard to narrow it down into 3 to 10 minute segments. So, please, all suggestions are welcome. You can check out our site at www.scrappinsistersaz.com if you want to check out the podcasts and video blogs that we have done so far. Just explore the bubble strip on the left of the site. I say "our" and "we" because I do it with my best scrappin' sister friend Heather. Thank you so much for your input and suggestions!

well i dont scrapbook, but i do make my own tags and cards which i sell and my advice to you would to think outside of the box. i actually bought a used thesaurus for words etc and i purchase old books (at garage sales)that can be chopped up. not sure if this will help or not though.

It does help. It's a great tip to share. I have done that too, but I have not really shared it with anyone. I always felt guilty about cutting up the book. I think that's because my mom instilled in me to treat them with respect. Funny how that has stuck with me all these years.

I would like to know how to use glitter on cards...I have bought some..it's finer then regular glitter but I am not sure what adhesive to use so it sticks well and doesn't come off when they open the card...I like alot of glitz on my cards..sparkly stuff so if you have other ideas for making the cards glitzy I would appreciate it.

I bought some with glitter on it and it had a self adhesive on the back and it ruined one of my punches!

I did two blogs for you on glitter. www.scrappinsistersaz.com You need to becareful when using the glitter paper in punches. I did the same thing you did. And no matter what, glitter will always flake off or rub off. Sometimes just more than other times. Using a stronger adhesive will help keep it from coming off and making sure it dries all the way before using it helps too.

Good idea! But no matter what, the glitter always comes off, it just depends on how much. LOL I can find that stuff everywhere - usually somewhere on me after using it.

Some thing I would like to know about scrapbooking is how to do it cheaper. I mean I love every thing I see but with 3 kids money isn't always around to spend on new die cuts and what not. How can I cut costs on things like that. I am an avid clearance shopper and do buy often at JoAnn Fabrics when they have things on sale but how can I do it myself?

just one question. are your blogging ideas digital scrapbooking, or the other type?

That would be the other type, with paper and stuff. Although, I will research items on digital scrapbooking if that is something you think is a need.

oh. thanks for the response anyway,,, Personally, I would want to do scrapbooking with papers and stuff, yet I am so sick of unwanted glue especially when it is still wet! o.o
