I may have just got scammed.... :(

I was viewing some ads for a traffic exchange I am a member of when I came across a website offering a free 7 day trial of their system. You had to click and set up the subscription through AlertPay, so that way if you didn't cancel the free trial, you would be billed. Well, I started to start the trial and it looked as if I was going to be charged $100. I contacted the company's support and the affiliate who owned the site, and both assured me I would not be charged until the 7th day. So I went and ahead and clicked, and sure enough, $100 was withdrawn from my account and sent to "my sponsor." I immediately contacted support, and they said that the sponsor's payment button must have been set up incorrectly, and that I had to contact her to get my money back. This morning when I was talking to her through email about the program, she would respond in like 10 minutes...It's now been 3 1/2 hours since I contacted her regarding my money, and I have yet to hear back from her...Hopefully she will realize the mistake she made, and will refund my money....

OMG! That is awful. Can you share the name of the program? I would spread it all over that you were ripped off $100! I'm so sorry Kecia. :(

This is horrible, I wish you can get your money back. Bad thing with Alertpay is, you can't do chargeback. I will suggest you contact AP support directly and hopefully they could refund your money!

That's awful. I'm so sorry to hear that. I am constantly worried about that happening to me. I've heard of a site that lists all of the scam websites. I'd advise you to check it out sometime. Sometimes these sites are too good to be true. Even the ones that look promising will get you into trouble. I hope you hear from the woman.

Thats just awful. We all have to be so careful when it comes to anything (especially on the internet). I hope you get your money refunded.
