now that you mention it, i don't know. ^__^;; isn't 50 too old for friendster? i don't even know if i'd still be that addicted to the internet if i reach the age of 50. maybe i'd still check my emails but friendster? hmmm... maybe. since i use it to connect with some old friends and share pictures. but i would probably won't do the other features like answer stupid surveys in the bulletin, or post music in my profile or become a fan of some bands and artists, or anything like that. ^__^;; hey, maybe friendster would be faced out when i'm 50! that would be almost 25 years from now!

I probably still would. But for a different reason. FOr now, I'm updating my profile to meet new people with the same interests as i am... but maybe in my fifties, I 'll update it for the sake of being able to cherish those memories, and have my relatives and friends access them through the net. I could connect to them more closely. It's like browsing through photo albums together, just that you're miles apart. ha ha... It's like an online scrapbook, and journal.. It's not just a place where you place pictures to attract people and to waste time, it's more of like preserving memories as well.

hahahaha, this is a funny question. I guess I will still update my profile. Friendster is the very first social networking site that I have joined with. And I like it, though, I don't earn I get the chance to connect with the old friends and see some pictures of them and share them mine as well. Friendster is one of the best site that could possibly stood out after 50 years. The question is, will it still exists?

Sure I will. I have some friend whose mothers have friendster and they are still updating. I think these social networking is a great way to update your old friends about what's happening in your life especially if your living far from each other. Though I will not be posting nonsense pictures like I am doing now when I grow older. That will be very awkward.

I think i still would... as long as friendster is still there... and my account is still active... friendster is the only way that i can keep in touch with my old friends and classmates who are working abroad... and just to see how they look right now through the pictures that they upload... is quite something... i love my friendster account... and i am glad that someone thought about setting up that site...

well, never thought about not updating it ... as long as I still have internet access when I reach the age. LOL. my old school friends are scattered around the country and this earth, so friendster is the only way to gather each other's latest news update. I haven't known any sites that would have all of us contacting each other that way. I meant, phone numbers would change, email addresses would change, mailing addresses would change, but as long as my friends keep their friendster account and update it, I would still be able to contact them and know their latest news, so ... I would still update my friendster profile if I still have the internet access at that age ... I haven't reach the 30 something age, so that's my wish. :P

i think i will. and maybe for this discussion we can say not only friendster but other social networks like myspace, facebook and yuwie. i think it will still be cool to update your profile when you are 50. keeping in touch with friends is great way to spend time as an elderly. it will bring back memories of the past, a lot of memories. it will be sad though sometimes, thinking of others you have lost.

The question should be, will Friendster still be here after 50 years?Maybe it will be outdated and new, modern sites will replace the networking site.So I am not really sure if I will still be updating my friendster when I reach that age.

I don't care how old I am. I am proud of my age and wouldn't hesitate at all to update my profile even if I was 88. It doesn't make any difference to me. My age is not who I am just how long I have been in this world. I don't belong to that site I like coming here to much.

if that question will be throw to me yes because friendster was able to trace my old elementary friends which i get conacted with after 20 years and most of them are in other country as long as i live. I was able to trace all of my highschool up to college friends and was able to come up with a reunion becuase of it cool question!
