Wow, what an incredible American Idol finale it was this year!Season 7 was just fantastic! Couldn't believe all the musicians that were on it: Donna Summer, Jonas Brothers, ZZ Top, Carrie Underwood, George Michael, Graham Nash, Seal, Bryan Adams, old video of Gladys Knight, and so many others. Oh, plus the comedy of Mike Myers a.k.a. Guru Pitka--the Love Guru and Jimmy Kimmel. It just gets better and better every year. I think both Davids are fantastic singers, but their styles are really different. Even though David Cook won, there's no doubt of the success that David Archuleta will have. David Cook is such a rocker, and he sounds a little like Chris Daughtry, don't you think? I can't wait to hear his first album. And it was fun to see the other "Idols" from this season. His song, "This is the Time" will probably be a big hit. So, what did you think about who won? How do you think they'll do in the music business? It should be exciting to watch.
