Does anyone else love Voldemort as much as I do?

From the very beginning, reading the books when I was 11ish, Voldemort has always been my favourite character. I find him so much more...intriguing than the rest, such a deep story. I think JK could have delved so much deeper into his history and character, but alas. The trio were the main characters. Tell me I'm not the only Tom fan!

Actually I was intrigued by his nature...But I always call him the "Dark Lord" whenever I post something because I think its quite in his character. I never acutally liked him, but he interests me a lot. On another basis, I would like to ask "how come he become a cold-blooded mass murderer?" he grew up in an orphanage and he was a talented young boy.I believe that when we are born,we're neither good nor evil. So how come he became what he is? Well, he is essential--very essential to the plot because without him there would be no Harry Potter around. Good REading!

Voldemort is a really interesting character but definitely not my favorite especially after all he did to really innocent people. Sure, he has a rich history and he felt pretty wronged in the past, but I just can't relate to him. I'm sure a lot of other people find him their favorite character to so you are not alone, but he's not mine.

Im a fan of Snape myself but Voldemort is crucial to the story. Without a good bad guy, the good guy can't prosper.

I never really liked Voldemort because he was the villian and he did a lot of wicked things to a lot of innocent people, and there was always the fact that he was trying to kill Harry.

Tom is a pretty interesting character. I don't know if I could say he was my favorite but I did find myself thinking alot about what happened to him as a child and if that was enough to turn him into such a monster. Both he and Harry were raised as orphans and not in loving circumstances, so why so different? Neither were really taught right or wrong, but when they found out they had extra powers, they had very different responses. Do you think this is how it is in real life? or are we more a product of our upbringing?

I guess I don't get the attraction. Not all that much was said about the character so I guess it's hard to see why people would be attracted to him. I do root for the bad guys in books and movies but I just haven't seen enough of Vold to really get into his as a character.
