Have you ever lived anywhere unusual ?

About 8 years ago I lived in a converted mill. it was so modern and up to date. And it was very spacous. It even still had the old mill wheel on the front which was right outside my living room window. It still worked when I was there but I dont know if it is still now. :-)

My house is an old grange building. It has 4000 square feet of hardwood floors, a 900 square foot kitchen with old school-type windows along two walls and a chalk board on one wall (it was also used as a school). There is a stage in one end of the house with ornate scrolling and stage curtains. I love this house, but it is a lot of house to clean! We are still in process of finishing the bedrooms that the previous owners started. Going to take years, but I love the place.

I have been pretty boring I think, I started off in a flat, then a unit now a house but I have always been facinated with houses connected to a shop front, I could see myself turning the shop part into a big entertainment area...
