Hi mylottors,I saw a news about japan whaling huntting,reported by BBC.but I still do not know much about the industry in Japan,And I keen to know about the industry in Japan,whaling huntting is legal or inlegal in the internetional laws?anyone who knows about the whaling huntting in Japan,please share your opinion with us,thanks in advance.Peter

Hi there. I'm not so familiar with international laws governing the legality of whale-hunting but in my own perspective, whether it's legal or illegal, the act itself of killing those beautiful creatures should be condemned.There are a lot of ways specially in Japan to boost industry aside from murdering whales.

Hi mjmlagat,thanks for your fastly respones.Yes,they hunt whale for scientific purposes,which always they excuses,I think that."Japan catches whales in the Sounthern Ocean around Antarictica under the clause in international whaling regualtions permitting hunting for scientific purposes."I think that is the excuse they kill whale and EAT them.Peter
