I have sent you a request. I have nearly 150 friends and I don't often request people to be my friend. Most of my friends have read my posts and then sent me a request. This is the best way to make friends. Keep adding interesting responses and start good discussions and more people will ask to be your friend.
Some people here will not accept anyone as a friend if they have less than 100 posts, so you may be more successful when you have posted more.
