My newest cat, Maxie, plays a game with Mimi, who dislikes other cats. Recently, he began to tease Mimi by sitting at the doorway of her "room" and staring at her. Mimi, in turn, stares back and growls for a few seconds, after which she takes off after him, chasing Maxie down to the basement, his temporary home. This has happened more than once, and so far, it seems that Maxie enjoys teasing Mimi most of all. He's such a playful little fellow! Do your cats play any games?

Peaches and Josie play "I won't let you sniff my butt." When one of them tries to do this to the other, the other turns and swats. Sometimes Peaches will roll onto her side to swat. No sniffing allowed. The other thing Peaches will do is crouch down almost invisible on the 6th step. All I can see are her ears. When Josie walks by, Peaches will tag her and race downstairs. Josie will ignore this action.

LOL...yes, it sounds like Maxie has found a way to have fun with Mimi. I have two cats who don't normally play because they're older but the youngest of the two teases my little dog. She'll walk over to where my dog is and roll around on the floor and stretch out...like she's just relaxing. Then she'll pull herself over towards the dog with her claws while she's still laying on her side or she'll get in that low attack position and and stare at the dog. The dog always ends up barking at the cat and then she'll run over to the counter and jump up on the stool, followed by the still barking dog. She acts like she hates the dog but she does bait her into chasing her so she must like her a little bit.
