Has your boss ever given you a bonus or incentive for doing a good job?

I am happy today that my partner got a job, after a long wait of two and a half months without a job, it has been tough going. This job seems like it will be really good environment to work in. He was told by his new boss that he likes to praise his employees and tell them when they have done a really good job, plus sometimes he will buy them some buckets of Kentucky Fried Chicken to celebrate their efforts. I think that is a great idea, as employees are more likely to do a good job and stick around when they are apreciated.
So have you been appreciated by your boss before or given a raise, bonus, Kentucky Fried chicken, pat on the back.......1 person likes this

I have been the boss giving out incentives before. When I was a manager at Taco Bell I would always bring in treats for the employees for working hard and doing a good job. I would bake them cookies, cake, coffee cake, even pie once. I would also bring in wrapped candies for them to snack on.

Wow I wish you were my boss! I have never had a boss do that before. Good to know you treated your employees really well, I am sure they did a good job in return as they would have had alot of respect for you.1 person likes this

I remember when we were successful in our accreditation, our president gave us a cash incentive for all the effort and time we had devoted to qualify! Thats a very great strategy as a boss, he is always willing to recognize the effort of his people not a fault finder individual! Congratulations for your husband kiran! I know how it is when one has no job, I am still jobless this time.

Cash incentives are a great thing for a boss to give their employeees, I know i would work even harder then if I was given a cash incentive. I am really happy my partner got a job, I was starting to get worried. I hope you can find work soon, also in a job you enjoy doing, good luck.

What kind of work do you do, you said you got a reward for your site? I agree it does make you feel valued when your boss appreciates your good work. Glad you were rewarded for your hard efforts.

wow! congrats to both of you. i got bonus from my employer before when i do a good job. this will encourage everyone to exert more effort to become a good employee. our company before select every year employee of the year, of course if you are chosen you will get bonus, a cash and a plaque of appreciation.

Hello, that is great that your boss acknowledges and appreciates his employees. That would definately motivate me more, a cash incentive and a plague.
