Just like any art, the medium which is used to create something is very important to the outcome or result of a design or art.
Do you consider programming as an art? If so, what programming language would you use to create such art?

I think programming is more of a science in the learning stage and as we keep working on it and keep developing the applications..With experience,It turns out to be more of an art.And Its a great pleasure to see your application run and being used by your happy customers.I do both system programming and application programming.

I used to program in Visual Basic years ago and, yes, now that you bring it up, I considered what I was creating to be a form of art. My programs performed a function but they had style and a definite feel depending on what their purpose was.
