How Would You Tell Your Husband That You Don't Wanna Have Another Baby..

I gave birth last Sept. 07 and unfortunately my doctor didn't approve of my having a ligation. The fact that I am in my late 30's and a diabetic makes me a good candidate for ligation. But my husband talked to my doctor into delaying the procedure. So here goes, I already have 2 loving kids and honestly I want to have a baby girl. But the thing is, I had a very difficult pregnancy. I was on bed rest the whole nine months because of threatened abortion or miscarriage. I was on injectable insulin 3x a day the whole time. I had cesarean operations twice and the last time the doctor had difficulty getting the baby out. I want have another but i feel that that will be the end of me.. I dont wanna hurt his feelings but I really dont know where to start.Any sound advice?
