I am a new stay at home mom. My daughter is 4 months old. Before she was born I was a Branch Manager for a Staffing Agency and being home is a big change. I love it, being with my daughter. I wouldn't have it any other way, I want her to be raised by me and not by a daycare center. But my husband is a truck driver and he's gone a lot. This gives me tons of free time, but sometimes too much. What kind of activities can I do with a four month old? I'd like to find some things I can do outside of the house. We do go for walks and she likes that but I need more ideas.

I'm a stay at home Mom since I'm married over 20 years now and I found that i had a lot that I could do of my time while they were asleep, first I took naps too because I was tired, went for walks with them played with them homeschooled them, teach them how to draw to write to read ect.... I've been told so often that I had my hands full, but my hands were not tide like they were thinking.

A four-year-old is easy. She sleeps a lot which is what she does best. It is when she wants to walk and explore the world that you will really find out what raising kids is all about. She will tell you what she wants to do and that is plenty. If you restrict her too much then she will lose her spontaneity, if on the other hand you let her run free without any restrictions she will grow up willful and discontented with her life.
