My wife don't let me

I often used to watch TV on nights. I am fond of sports and news on TV. But after 11.00 pm my wife would not allow me to watch telling, the flicker disturbing her sleep. I have my TV in bed room. Some time TV watching ends up in a quarrel which will only end in the morning.

Maybe the best thing to do in that situation is to put the tv on the living room where you can still watch while your wife is asleep. lol.. it is ridiculous when tv viewing will make you quarrel. find solution that both of you would agree.

If that is the only t.v. in the house have you ever thought of compromising and moving it to another room in the house where you will not disturb her?

I enjoy watching tv alone and I usually enjoy this when my wife is busy with something. The problem comes when she wants to spend a little time with me and watches tv like I do because she wants the remote and watches only what she wants. That is not a problem if I am not watching my favorite shows keenly where I really do not want to miss knowing what happens; then, I go and watch tv in the kids' room. She gets her way when it's a re-run. She gets to watch her show and have me there too.
