How do you advertise your blog or sit, where do you find your referrals?

I am new at this ptc thing, but I'm picking it up slowly, by asking silly questions and "trial and error". Yet I haven't earned enough anywhere to get any payouts, and yet I know it will take time I wish I could speed up the earning rate a bit.. There seem to be a lot of people online here that have loads of experience when it comes to making money online, through ptc- and other sites. All of you, too, must have started somewhere with no money, right! How did you do it, how did you start it, how did you promote your ptc to get referrals, or did you spend you "own" money first to buy packages with referrals on the sites? How long did it take until your first ever payout. How many "backfires" did you have before you found the good stuff? And please, do not misunderstand my question, I do not want links to join or responses to check someones blog (unless it tells the story), I just want to get a written comment about how you started off your business!

I have tried many program to earn money online... and for your information there are so many online programs that offers the chance to earn money online...and you may join nad participate.. Good Luck... Yes.. it's a wide business opportunities... BUT, the only problem I faced when talking about making money with online programs was reaching payout the feel to enjoy the earning.. what i got the most was just experiences , the more i join the more experience i got but no cash in my pockets... :C I dont know why, is that because of me doing carelessly or not consistenly OR may be it actually hard to really earn online except you are big companies or big internet marketers... sigh....:C

Ops.. sorry... landlord, It looked like im a bit off topics.. ha ha... anyway, about promoting my programs , i used to apply several methods.. i used to promote through my blogs , my friends blogs , other top/popular blog on the net and this is quite effective way of promoting through blogs... If you want your site to be popular , you are advised to join popular blog discussion and dont forget to leave your link/affiliate/referral in there... this is one among the most popular tips that i know.. it's worth to try.. :D

I'd say start from joining forums of your interests, I can see you;re here, so you've just made the move. In forums you'll find great, interesting topics which could be your blog theme, also you can find a lot of referrals in the forum since you're mingling with the like minded people. Most of all, continuous education! keep on reading, reasearching, and asking questions, and ofcourse sharing your own knowledge, in that way, you can find not only possible referrals, but also frineds and network.

That is a very good idea! Just by joining myLot has I gotten to know people with similar interests that share their knowledge, as well as been able to start promoting my site. I have a bit of a problem with being, I guess a bit too "humble". Whereas other people start discussions and put postings about "join through me", I am afraid that would be considered rude, and is very careful with how I put my "offers". I am afraid to be to pushy, but I guess, how else will they know?!
