Have you made anyone happy lately?

I made my sister happy today! I whent to visit her, we hade a lovely day, the last time was in march we do phone each other regular.

Well, I just made my parents happy today. Very happy at that. I took the Civil Service Professional Eligibility Exam last October 2007 and the results were posted last January. The Civil Service Commission told us that the certificates will be sent through mail. Unfortunately, I never received any and it's been four months since they posted the results. I then decided to visit the regional office to request for my certificate. Although I knew I passed the exam, I do not know my rating. Thus, getting the certificate means being able to see my rating too. This afternoon, I got my certificate and saw my rating. I immediately texted my parents about the results and they were so happy about it.

I think it's important to help our friends be happy! That's wonderful that you went to visit your friend while she was in the hospital, it probably made her day! So often I hear people say that so & so is in the hospital, but they won't go because they don't like being in one. I've always looked at it as going to support my friend (or family) to show them I care about them and getting through whatever! Here's wishing you a happy day...just for you!

I seem to be able to make people that I work with happy. Just today someone was having problems with their pc and all I had to do was walk in the room and the problem cleared itself. I think one has to be happy with ones self before they can make anyone else happy!

I love making people happy, because that also makes me happy. There are many ways to bring joys to someone - you could buy them a gift, visit them if they are sick or in a hospital, take them out to see nature, if they have been locked into their houses for too long or just talk with them and listen to what they have to say. The simplest way to bring joy to the world is, in my opinion, your smile ! It is so easy and free to give a smile that makes people feel better ! Best wishes to you and...

I try to make people happy. I called my best friend in another state the other day because I could tell from an email she sent that she was feeling down so we chatted for over an hour and that cheered her up. I make my 2 year old grandson happy just by being his nan. He loves being with me and we do silly stuff together, which helps my daughter out a lot since they have a new baby in the family who takes up a lot of her time.

Apparently on the parenting website I'm with, I've made many people happy. Kind of makes me embarrassed when they thank me, because I'm just doing what I can to spread a little bit of happiness around. Helping others to find a bit of happiness increases our own happiness as when we can see a good result, then we feel good about the energy we used to help them.
