How often do you do laundry?

There are three of us in my house so I do a couple of loads every couple of days. I was talking to a friend who said she had around ten loads to do. I about fell off my chair. I hate doing laundry so would rather do it as I go than let it build up. So, my question is how often do you do laundry?

I do some every day so it doesn't build up too much. There's only four of us, but we find that we go through a lot more laundry during the hot summer months. On average, I'd say I do one to two loads a day so I can stay caught up. Now I just need to do the same for my ironing! :)

LOL...so true. I dislike ironing even more than doing laundry itself. I tend to buy stuff that doesn't need to be ironed because of that.

What really sucks about my apartment is that is has no washer or dryer hookup . So I do my laundry at my grandmothers she has those huge washer and dryers. but still I normally only get around to it once a week. and for a baby and two adults its about a 8-10 job! I hate it! Sometimes my mother in law will take a load, just so I dont get overloaded but not to much since she is a busy woman herself!

I usually do laundry once a week and that's my own laundry. I don't do anyway elses and I don't wear insane amounts of clothing so I don't have to wash clothes too often. Sometimes I may handwash one or two things if they need washed and I need them right away but otherwise I don't worry about washing clothes often.

There are 5 in our house and each is responsible for their own laundry. I do mine and my husbands which is usually a load every couple of days. And i really HATE doing laundry!

There are five of us live in our house, sometimes six. I do laundary every day, sometimes twice a day. We are a family that swims a lot so we have many swimming towels to wash. My children each have two pairs of pants and socks to go inthe wash every day, so does hubby and I. Washing soons piles up so i like to keep right on top of it, also if you don't then the ironing pile gets too big in one go. I dread the washnig machine breaking down as I have to go to the next town to get the washnig done at the paid laundary

That's a lot of laundry! When I was younger I lived in an apartment without washing machines. I hated going to the laundromat. After that I swore I would never live in a place without hookups.

There are five of us so we do laundry daily and on weekends we do many loads. If we don't do it for a couple of days it really piles up and no one has clean clothes.

Hi, There are about 4 of us in the house so I end up doing at least one load every day. If I do not do that I end up getting about 10 loads saved up for the weekend. I am like you...I would rather pick away at it a little bit everyday than have one full day of doing laundry. cheers,

I do 1 or 2 loads of laundry about twice a week. I do not like waiting until I have nothing left to wear to do laundry. I used to put it off a little longer, but I have been good about it lately.

To have 10 loads of washing is a hell of alot. When I was living with my boyfriend I wash every weekend. Laundry is hard work and I think it is better to wash every other day if you have a big family.

I either do one load a day or two every couple of days. Actually right now I'm doing a bit more due to potty training my 3 year old and having a two month old baby. Thankfully, laundry is my favourite chore.
