Hello, welcome to myLot. People are never satisfied of many things, unless they would realize how lucky they are from others. There are those who eat as if there is no food for tomorrow, without knowing that there are people who only eat once a day. There are people who are never contented of their clothes, that we would shop until there is no more design for this season. They are so lucky without knowing that third world countries have a lot of these problems. There are people who had been negative all their life. It is as if the whole world has crashed their lives. They don't know that there are other poeple who don't even have a roof for the night. Your post is very touching. I want to say more but I'm saving the other answers or opinions for other myLotter. Take care =)

Oh!! yes how true your words are my friend. We humans are for ever pining for things we dont have.We run after things we cannot possess. We are always unhappy because we think we cannot achieve anything. Our mind is shrouded with doubt. This makes us blind to the gifts that we already have.Yes everyone one is special in his or her own right.Afterall we are all gods children and he has bestowed us with something unique.Wer only need to open our mind and realise it.

Yes we must learn to appreciate what we have in life. We must be thankful of the things that we have. We must learn to value what we have. Because the things that we put into waste and the things that we thinks is unimportant is very needed by somebody.

Hello! Sometimes we always compare ourselves to those who have more that we actually forgot that there are people also who have less compared to us. We should stop comparing ourselves to others and just be thankful for what we have.

This is so true my friend. What we take for granted that is what a next one wish for. When I was low in life and I talk about it alot my friends told me this story: There was a man eating a banana in a tree contemplating to end is life and after eating the banana he throw away the skin. Low and below there was another man under the tree and he pick up the skin and eat it. He look and said, Why should I end my life this way when there is someone worse than me. We should also give thanks for our blessings and help where we can.

For every problem you think you are bearing, there are people 10 times more problematic than you-I sometimes feel so distraught with everything about my life, but when I take a ride to the city and see many dsperate people around begging allover the streets, I thank God for my life!

Hi mprocker, You words are very wise and true. No matter what our circumstances, there's always someone, somewhere, who is worse off than us. We have to work with the cards that we're dealt. Nothing has been promised to us in this world, so every small blessing we may have is a gift indeed. Eternity is waiting just on the other side of the thin veneer that we call life. And eternity lasts far longer than any lifetime. So we should each do the best we can, and make the most we can of what we've been given. We'll have plenty of time to consider the wisdom of our choices later.

Thats very true, we at times feel that we are being put at the worst situation, unless we really see out in the open world, the utter miseries.. :'(
