Can Anyone Help with Some info on Getting a Cellphone Signal Booster??

Does he travel far on this ship ? It will either be down to the metal structure of the ship, if that's the case then go and try standing on deck. If it is because of where the ship is, ie middle of the ocean then I would imagine a signal booster would not be any good as they can only increase the signal by a certain % and if you are many hundread's of mile's away from a satelite/antena it will not work. As for the walkie talkie, im not sure that would work with a huge distance in mind. it could also be dangerous if you was to go on to the wrong frequency. Surely the ship/boat must have a radio communication device or a telegram service that you could get in touch with some how.
