Smiley Face Killer

What do you think? Is there a serial killer or group of serial killers out there? Are these young men just having too much to drink and accidentally falling into the water? What do you make of the smiley faces found at the a dozen of the scenes? I read this article today and thought it is a good question: http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/05/21/smiley.face.killer/index.html

I think there definitely seems to be something going on there. It's a little too ironic that weird creepy smiley faces are showing up at each site. It's just a bit strange in my opinion. People have their doubts but my only doubt is that they're not going to stop the killers.
