I am an adoptee from South Korea and have always wanted to go there and visit. I don't even know where I would start. Any advice or tips on traveling?

From what I have heard Korea is a wonderful place with very wide high highways and is truly modern all throughout. What I noticed about is is that a lot of Koreans are leaving Korea for other places. It's good to know someone is going there instead of leaving.

actually i'm living in south korea now. if you want to just go around maybe seoul is the right place to start. the alternative would be busan. but it is really depended on what you wanted to do and see.

My neighbour that's renting next door is from Korea. I've not been there before. Hope to go there someday in the future. Heard that it's a very nice place

I've been to South Korea twice to visit my brother and his family. The Koreans are very friendly people. They go out of their way to help you. I was looking for a certain stuffed animal for a friend and couldn't find anything. Hours later a vendor recognized me and found a stuffed animal for me. Public transportation is good. The food is tasty. It's really cold in the winter so bundle up. I don't know how it's like during summer. There are travel websites that have more information. Don't accept candies from strange people. That's my advice that I give to friends.

you could try to go on a tour in korea! you could call up any korean travel agencies and see what kind of packages are out there. good luck! it should be an eye-opening experience.
