I wonder if gas prices will go down by Tuesday?

With the holiday this weekend, gas prices have shot up to and above $4.00 a gallon here where I live, and in most of the United States. I was out and about yesterday with friends, and didn't fill up. I really don't have anywhere to go this weekend, so I am thinking of waiting until Tuesday to fill up.
What do you think? Do you think the gas prices will go down after the Memorial Day holiday?

Bahahaha. No way. At least not here....I am fortunate to have ONE gas station that still offers gas at 3.89. I'm going to fill up after work today and stay put until I travel the 2.5 hours I need to go for Memorial Day.
It couldn't hurt to wait until Tuesday, as long as you have nowhere to go. It certainly won't get better this weekend, but you never know...

Since gas prices have risen to the point of almost needing to take out a loan to fill your tank, I've noticed that they do go up right before a holiday, then back down, a little, afterwards.
I've heard that gas prices should be dropping by this fall. I hope it's true, but who knows how much they will have risen before then!
