We homeschool and my son is entering the 12th grade. He is also going to start in the fall full time at a local community college. I finally got all his admission stuff to the college today and they said we are good to go. I thought he could only take 6 hours but they said he can go full time. He is a computer whiz and can't wait to learn programming and other advanced stuff. I am glad colleges allow high schoolers to do this so they can get a jumpstart on their college education.

I am dual enrolled. Im in 11th grade, but i started last year in 10th. It is very fun. I do know some people that are homeschooled and dual enrolled. They dont charge for any classes, books, or any other fees. I expect to have my AA degree by the time I graduate high school.

It sounds like your son has a bright future ahead of him. Early enrollment can save lots of dollars, especially if your son is looking to go to graduate school. Just tell him to take it slow and not rush to much. College is a great time. Congratulations!

Yeah I know that is so cool. I wasn't able to do that unfortunately. But good luck to your son it's good that he's getting a jumpstart on his college stuff because like that he'll graduate on time and won't have to worry so much about whether he has enough classes or whatever. Good luck to him and good luck to you too.
