Contact Lenses: Ciba vs. Bauch & Lomb?

My eye doctor gave me two trial pairs of contacts. I was to wear the Ciba Vision brand for a week, and then the Bauch and Lomb brand for the second week. Then come back after 2 weeks wearing the pair I like the best and order more.
I can't tell any difference between the two.
I like them both the same.
Have any of you ever tried either brand, and if so, do you have preference?

I have myopia which means that I need glasses and I have been wearing them since I was in high school. I have never used contact lenses before and it might be good to try. So, this is how the eye doctor does it? Compare and go with the choice? Cool!

I'm not sure if they all do that, but mine wanted me to try some new ones since they've improved since I got my old ones.
I guess he got 2 brands that he was able to give as samples, so he let me try both.
I've gotten one pair of free samples from another eye doctor before too, so it is possible that they all may do it. You could always ask when you make your appointment.
