Don't you hate this?

I just bought a CD and had no problem with getting the plastic off and the label they always put along the top. The problem I'm having is a sticker they put on the CD case itself. You know, the ones that let you know what hits on the album or the extras that come with it. I hate it when they do this! It's such a pain to get off. Why can't they just stick it on the wrapping? Now I have a new CD with sticky residue and parts of a sticker left on the front. That is until I get the goo gone out to take it off. On the bright side, I'm just happy that the majority of the CDs do put their stickers on the outside. It's just those few that pop up now and then that drive me crazy.

Yes, the sticky goo is very annoying. Does anyone know how to easily get it off? I've tried many things but it seems to always take a lot of work to get it off.

You're in Canada, right? I don't know if they have it there but there's a product called Goo Gone. It's not the most pleasant smelling thing but it does work. I just have to find the bottle now to attack the sticker!

i dont peel it off because once i peel it off then i will really get pissed. it will attract dust and it will be looking dirty. it will look like a bubble gum wasstuck there. dont peel it, i think they put those stickers for it is their trademarks or something.

I agree they should put the stickers on the outer wrapper, but if im honest, it doesn't really bother me. Theres no real need to peel that sticker of anyway. Solves the sticky residue issue ;)

LOL...I know but for some reason it just really bugs me. I did have a good start on getting it off and then it just fell apart somewhere in the middle.

Yeah, that used to drive me crazy. Just getting the plastic wrapper off was a difficult task. Even the seal at the top is a pain too. Those stickers do ruin the cover of the CD. I can't even imagine how die hard music lovers must feel. I'm sure there are people who like their CD's to be in pristine condition. I just use torrents now to get my music now.

I like wrappers that have the little tab you pull to open with. But those don't always work because you might have the bottom part of the wrapper off and then you have to wrestle the top off.
