done before bed. How long would it take you? Just watched an episode of Clean House. Some people would need a month..what about you?

My daughter loves Clean House. Me.. not so much. Even as a bachelor, I'd never get that bad.

I have seen some of those houses. It is kind of scary they way some people live. I think it would really only take maybe an hour to to get the house clean. If you want it spotless though it may take longer.

No not a month, but if I had to clean it all including the closets and walls then it would take me a week cause I sure wouldn't want to do it all day all at once I would take a room a day and pace myself. My frontroom and kitchen and bathrooms are pretty much cleaned already so it would just be the walls in them that needs washed..nope haven't done that since October and it needs to be done again since we heat with kerosene which yellows things after awhile. How long would it take you?

I would need at least 3 hours. I have two dogs and one cat. I just finished cleaning floor on one level. Much more to do not mention bathrooms and kitchen.

I am totally confused! Clean the entire house before bed? Impossible! It is 3 p.m. here. I go to bed around 10 p.m. Now cleaning means, sweeping, scrubbing, getting the wardrobes out, dusting, and a hundred other things. Ersmommy, to get my house clean as a whistle, I believe I will have to work 8 hours a day for seven days. And even then, I am sure it will get as dirty as it was before, and I will have to start cleaning again! Have anyone ever "finished" cleaning their house?? LOL, thanks for this interesting discussion. Cheers and happy mylotting!

How clean do we have to get it? It would take me about 2 hours tops to get it really clean, that means cleaning out closets and not counting my son's room, I don't go there, that's his problem.

If I were to start now and needed to have it done by bed time, I'd be up for a very long time. I'm not sure how long it would take me exactly to get all the cleaning done, but I know it would take me longer than I'd be allowed, probably over a month or so. We have a big house and some people here just don't clean. Some aren't capable and don't always time the time to clean, others are just too lazy to actually do anything of it themselves. I'd end up doing most of it myself I'm sure so it would take me a lot longer.

Dusting and vacumning or what....I think about a half hour to an hour. It's straightened up and the bathroom is clean so just a light going over would do.

I think in the shape it is now, it would maybe take 2 too 3 hours. that is with scrubbing things like the floors ect... Our water was shutt off this week, so I have lots to catch up on.Been off for 2 days now, just got it turned back on today.Like I said I have lots to catch up on. If I were to start right now, I could have everything done in an hour, except laundry. Wow I am suprised I can say that lol . I actually did lots of cleaning this AM the nitty gritty get on your hands and knees cleaning. Now it would be just a nice cleanup to have the house look picture perfect.
