Do you like to response first ?

Hello to you sincere4frdship! I never really fear having to post the first response for a particular discussion. In fact, I do visit discussions with no responses and I respond to those that are really interesting. I do not see any reason why I should fear having to post the first response for a discussion. So I think, you should get out of your way and post the first response for a new discussion. Take care!

I try to do first response. Not always I succeed. The reason behind is I add up information to the original discussion if I have some expertise on it. If my knowledge is less in the field then my queries are going to enrich the original authors discussion topics. As you must have marked the Mylot style is different than that of a regular forum. Here discussions are made, not just simple question and answer session. So I believe I should answer first as it gives opportunity to increase the discussion or even start the discussion.

I like to be the first or amoong the first to respond to a discussion. To be honest, if more than 10 people have already responded, I usually don't bother. My belief is that by then, everything I will say has probably been expressed by somebody else. I think you should not be fearful in being the first to respond to a discussion. After all, you are just sharing an opinion, so there is really no right or wrong answer. So ease up on yourself and just write, especially on topics that you like.

Not most of the time. I do respond first if I got to read the topic and have something to share about it. It's not a big deal with me doing the first response. The effort that I've been giving to any discussion is just the same since I never posted to any discussion which I can't understand or I don't have something to share.

I often do response first to discussions. even though it has got a fear of not understanding the question, it has got many advantages also. like, 1. you will be on first page of discussion. 2. being on first page will make your responses be read by many other mylotters who would write a response to it. 3. more mylotters read your response, you become more popular and more chance for ur discussions getting responded by others. 4. better chance to get rated. the final result of all these advantages is THE MORE POPULAR YOU ARE ON MYLOT THE MORE YOU EARN. happy mylotting and be first to respond

It doesn't matter to me if I'm first or 30th. If I don't know how to respond, I don't. If I have something to say on the topic, I will.

Nah i have no fears unless you count spiders lol. I would never hesitate to be the first to respond at all. I know I can be wrong and if I am well is that really so bad.

I don't mind to respond first at all. I think it has its advantages if you respond first. For example you are not going to repeat what others have said in there response also the person who started the discussion will definately read your response as you are the first one on the list. If someone has alot of responses they may not read them all. Don't have fear here, say what you think, noone will judge you for having an opinion.

nope I do not fear makingthe first response as I feel someone has to be first. If I can give a good 'answer I am pleased to be the first. maybe i may be the catalyst to start others on the way to responding to the discussion. that way it will have at least a few responses for the poster and not be a lost cause as some discussions have turned out to be for some of us mylotters.

I like responding first or with in the first few/first page of responses. I like to be heard and sometimes I wonder if people lose interest in reading their discussions or other's discussions after a whole bunch of pages and just skim the answers after.

I do like to respond first, or within the first few responses. Not sure why, there's no real reason. I just like to be one of the first ones heard I guess, lol.

sometimes i do like to respond first. it really depends on the subjet that im responding too. if i have something to say about it that i really want to get in there quickly then yes...its kinda cool to get dibs on the first response spot. but if its something that just adds to the overall discussion then its not something im gonna lose sleep over in any way...in fact even if i didnt get first response i would still be happy that i was able to make a response at all.

As long as I have the idea to share with the discussion, I don't have reason to feel fear to respond. Bear in mind that we are in public and I guess everybody are welcome to post as long as you are a valid member. So stay away from your fear and start responding to discussion, maybe your ideas badly needed here.

For me, it depends on the discussion. If it is something I feel I can contribute too and have knowledge or thoughts on the topic that will be beneficial then of course I would respond even if no one else has. For me, it does not really matter, and then there are some I know who like to do that a lot of times to end up having a Good chance in getting picked for Best Response. I guess for me, it just depends.

I respond first because somebody has to do it, and it is so frustrating when there are no responses at all, you can't even close your discussions at all.

I response to answers that I received to my topics and answer always to topics of friends from mylot.

As in the first person to response to a discussion? To me, it does not matter much. First or last... But if I know I will be on the first page, I try to write longer and put more details LOL. But only if I have the time and energy to spare.

If I know the answer of the discussion and confident then I surely respond to it.Whether it is first or second I donot bother. If there is little bit doubt then I prefer answering after someone answer the question.

I am not afraid to be the first to respond to a discussion,unless I am not sure what the discussion means,in that case I will wait and see what someone else posts so I can get an idea of what to say, otherwise I will gladly post my opinion,even if it means being the first to respond.
