Well, there was....yes, there actually was a time when I used to love cooking. I kept trying out new recipes. But I must have overdone it and now the very thought of entering the kitchen gives me jitters. But what really gets me worrying is the fact that I can never think of good snacks for my eight-year-old. The poor thing is half the time left hungry and eventually lands up eating biscuits and cookies. In the evenings, especially, when he comes home after play or his music lesson, he's famished and I never have anything fixed for him. And, the thought of going into the kitchen gives me the creeps. To be honest, I'm a pretty good cook. It's just lack of ideas and laziness that prevents me from making anything for this growing boy. Can you give me some quick-fix recipes of snacks which are easy to cook and for which the ingredients may be available at home? Something that's nutritious and tasty, especially something kids like. It could be both veg or non-veg.

I am in the same boat as you are and its really ahrd to come up with recipies for them. I prefer making sandwiches with lots of fresh vegetables or fruit chaat or fruit cream and custards are the best things. I make kheer too in the fridge just for that snack time. check out this site for more quick reipies http://www.easy-kids-recipes.com/easy-recipes.html
