Wednesday my mom was in a car accident. She was stopped at a red light and was hit in the back by another car sending her car into the one in front of her. Now she went to the doctor and stuff today. and they want her to get X-rays ASAP for her neck. ( it looks real bad) they think it might be fractured or something. but what has me more scared is.. her other doctor wants her to get a cat scan because shes scared she might have bleeding on her brain or some kind of concussion. But I do not know if shes gonna get the cat scan. My mom slept straight through the night last night which is not like her. She can usually NEVER sleep. Now all she wants to do is sleep. She feels very nausea. has throw up. says shes having sharp pain "inside" her head shes been in pain non-stop today and yesterday. Do you think that sounds like she may have some kind of internal problem?

They let her go home thinking that she has bleeding on her brain or she is still in the hospital? If she is at home then I would be calling the doctor ASAP. It does not sound very good. It very well could be internal problems. I hope that it is nothing too serious and something that she will recover from and recover quickly.

She never went to the hospital. but she is going tomorrow to get x-rays i think. After the cash she said she was fine. It wasn't till a couple hours later she started feeling pain and everything. it was her regular doctor that said that about the bleeding on the brain. She told her to go get a cat scan. It's not something her doctor could of done at her office.

It does. My mom was in a crash where tje car cae acoss the lanes and hit hers and she was sued for being there when she should've stayed home. Of course, they lost but she got less than she should have--didn't tell her kids about it--and still has problems years later.
