My Various Dreams

As a kid, I wanted to be like the child stars I watched on TV. I wanted to act, but then that dream faded away knowing that it was really just impossible. My parents didn't support me with that "impossible dream". But then I accepted it and I started a new one. It's just that when you grow older each year, each day, you find something new to dream of. Until my big dreams turn to little and simpler ones. I dreamt of knowing how to ride the bike, dreamt of playing outdoor games with my friends, of having fun everyday. I dreamt of being a nun (a sister) who teaches. And that was when I found out that my family actually affects my dreams/goals/achievements a lot. They didn't agree with that. I wanted to learn to play the piano, this time, my parents supported me on this. And I was able to, indeed. As I grew to be a teenager, I dreamt of being beautiful and as pretty as I can make myself. I wanted to see my crush everyday. I dreamt of falling in love... Now that I'm actually entering college by July, I might be dreaming of having the best job for me, then. :) How 'bout you? What were/are your dreams?

Hi there Drama Princess! Well, I had lots of dreams too. When I was really young, I wanted to be a teacher. Then when I was in elementary, I wanted to be a politician. When I was in high school, I wanted to be a journalist. When I was in college, I dreamt of being a teacher again. Then I stopped studying and I got married and had a son. Then I dreamt of having our own business. Now we have our own internet cafe and I am going back to school to finish my studies to fulfill my dream of being a teacher.

Hi nanayangel~ ^^ You sure had quite a lot of dreams. Putting up your own business is also good. :) But, of course, what's best is to have finished your studies and fulfill your other dreams. GOODLUCK~ AND THANKS! :)

It really works that way. As the years go by your dreams and goals change. But nevertheless, I admire you for your honesty and perseverance. I was moved with what you said about being in college and then getting a best job. You go girl! Go for it! Keep on aiming high!
