Does anyone here actually pay tax on their online earnings?

I was just wondering if people here pay taxes on the money they earn online (eg - mylot, ptc, blogs, etc)? If you have did you get much tax taken out? ARe you worried if you haven't that the tax department may find out. I have been paid a few times so far by mylot and bux3, but I have not paid tax as yet.

Yes, I pay taxes on my online earnings. It's my major source of income.

WOw! I mean you must really be very successful online, at least successful enough for them to be interested in you. I think most of us don't earn enough online to be able to call our online activities earnings. But good for you - perhaps you should also consider writing about the money you've made when retire.

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm a freelance writer and I earn my money by writing for online sites and blogging. I also have a couple of websites. Some of the money I earn is residual income (my favorite way to earn money), the other money is active where I have to write daily or weekly in order to get paid. Once the residual income increases to a point where I can live on it, I'll be able to write less. I started this a little over two years ago, and each year the income increases. I'm putting in the hard work now so that it will pay off in the long run.

Kiran, my earning is too meagre and too little so as to put me into any tax bracket......LOL! Nonetheless, you have asked a relevant question, and those who are constantly earning through internet, may answer it correctly.

I thought I would ask as it has been bugging me for a while, this tax thing confuses me. As you have to look at what investment you put into it such as premium membership, referral packages, etc. I guess it does not matter if earnings are pocket cash, but have a big payout coming from bux.to and not sure about tax???

Think you are safe there lol. I am expecting payment from bux.to in a few months. It should be around the 3K mark by the time I get it. Just not sure about tax as some of that was money I invested into it, plus the earnings are over a few months.

I am far from thinking about paying online tax! Yet to get any pay-out from any site. Even if i get, it may only be meagre. So, no worry for me, for now.

I don't make enough online that I have to pay taxes on it. I doubt MyLot will ever be such a big earner that I'll need to. The money I make here mainly just goes into my piggy banks. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

if we live in the U.S, we pay taxes according to the terms of the site that we must confirmed if we are U.S. citizen or not. i paid a lot of taxes on my offline business. gosh, it's really annoying that small business operator don't evade taxes, unlike rich people who always be tax evader.
