Hello again, I need some advice from you all in my Lot Community , here goes. My mom passed away on Mar.3rd 2008. We lost her to Pneumonia. Well being an old daughter it was very hard to say goodbye. Anyways now that she is gone she has a sister that keeps pestering me for her clothes ,shoes etc. I have a great deal of love for my aunt since my mom`s closest sister died she became close to this one. Is not that I am refusing to give her things, it is that I find solace opening the closet and feeling her presence. It is not that I want them for myself since they cannot fit me. Most of my memories with my mom are from shopping since I have no sister. So someone maybe went through a similar experience could give me some advice. My friends told me that it is up to the immediate family when they are willing to get rid of personal effects and thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi dlm, I feel very sad to learn that your beloved mom had passed away some time ago. My mom had left me forever 11 years back. Whenever I think of her I still feel rather sad as I miss her a lot. For me I just kept a set of her clothes and some jewelry for remembrance. The rest of her clothes were given to those who needed them. In this way I had done a good deed on behalf of her. In my opinion I would suggest that you can give some to your auntie since she is so fond of them. I believe to love and to remember our loved one is not necessary always in sight and it is better in mind. Take care and have a nice day.
