Its just weird to see my little girl wanting to climb trees and liking boys toys and stuff. i always imagiend my little one being the girl girl. so cute and pretty LMAO.... I stil love my little one anyways. what about you? do you let your son play with some girls toys and ontop have you ever bought somthing that would better suit a little girls for your son.. or the other way around. buying your little girl toys that better fit a little boy?. im just wondering... thanks!

Well, my daughter likes to push my son's cars.. I kind of dislike it, because I don't want to see her end up being a tomboy. But I figured, it is no big deal.. So I will let her continue... But my son, I really don't let him play with his sister's toys because it makes him look strange.. Now if it is a book or a toy that can be used either as a boy or girl, then yes...

Hi, I think it would depend on the age. If they are quite young, It wouldn't bother me.

Well, im not to worried about what other people think my kid looks like. i dont wanna be buying toys that she isnt ganna find intrest in. even if i had a son. i think i would so it the same way. I mean. of course a dress or a princess dress stuff like that i wouldnt buy for my son at a small age. but if he wants it. he wants it. people like you say may think its strange. but if it is a thing that turns out to be strange. u think you could change that by not buying him a girls toy?. you see. thats my intake on it anyways. all i can say is aim glad i have a girl LMAO it think it would be harder to buy a girls toys for a boy yes.;lol

I think it is Ok, if they are Young, it doesn't make a difference. I think when they get up in age, like maybe 4 or 5 No, I wouldn't let them play with boy toys. And the same for boys I woldn't let tem play with girl toys.

It's funny. We always said that when we had kids, we wouldn't gom the stereotypical toy route (cars for boys, dolls for girls etc), but both our kids just kinda went that way without any prompting. My daughter claims to be a tomboy, but has a room jammed to the rafters with stuffed kittens and Webkinz. My son is all about sports and video games. I would have no problem getting either of them a toy that was aimed at the other gender though...nothing wrong with that.

I dislike it, i always wanted a girl. but i see how much she likes it. so i dont mind it.. ive even thought about taking her to the air show once it comes back around.. Our military get together and get the jets and stuff out do tricks show off the aircrafts to the kids. lets them lcimb and play on em. its really fun for the adults and the kids. i want my kid to be who she wants to be.. who she is. not what i want her to be so. i just let het play with what she wants these days:P.

i dont think there's anything wrong with girls playing with 'boy's' toys... especially these days.. when you have lady mechanics, and engineers and whatnots.. i have five children.. 2 sons and 3 daughters.. the two younger girls are always playing with their elder brothers' toys... cars, figurines.. my son also sometimes play with his sisters' toys... and i normally watch him when he does.. curious to see how he plays with them.. it's quite funny, actually. i normally see him turn the dolls, or teddy bears into 'monsters' or 'villains'... the ones that he needs to fight with his 'superheros'.... i'll laugh to myself.. and let him play... children are curious creatures.. i dont think they understand there are 'toys for boys' and 'toys for girls'... toys are just toys.. still i do think it's better to watch how they play them...

Yes i agreee watch how they play with them. boy playing with girls toys mostly.. but also girls with boys 2. theres just so many things in this world to corrupt their little tiny heads. its unreal. I dont really mind my little one playing with boys toys. i was just wondering what everyone elses opinnion was.. at first i hated it. i still kinda dislike it but if she wants to fly planes so be it. that would be kinda cool actually:P

for me i dont let my son play with girl toys and vice versa since it is not appropriate for their gender. i have observed that some boys who grew up playing with girl toys tend to become a so-called double blade. same with girls playing with boy toys.

There is nothing wrong with boys playing with girl toys and girls playing with boy toys. Mine did it when they were little. My boys are true men in the "real" since and my daughter is a lady. The boys like their big boy toys now, off road trucks, 4 wheelers, 3 wheelers, boats. They go mud bogging. They own many things to go on the weekends and have fun with. My daughter has 7 children and is a lady that loves doing all the girl things. As well as 4 wheeling. They all played house with dolls and with cars and trucks when younger. It's a matter of likes and dislikes. They change throughout the years.
