It's great with chicken!
I use my big electric skillet and put my chicken pieces in it, then pour a cup of ketchup and a can of coke over it. Put the lid on and cook for 30 min or so.
It's awesome!
The caramel in the coke helps the ketchup, well, caramelize. It is sweet, yet a bit tangy from the ketchup too. Its a great combination.

Yes! You don't even have to mix it all up first or anything.
I think I tried it in the crock pot once too and it worked just as well.
Pour the ketchup in, pour the can of coke on top, put the lid on.
Done!
Of course you can add other things like onion, other spices, etc, but the basic sauce is awesome.

I think that may be scary. Sounds like something my little brother would concoct in the kitchen when no one was watching. I think I would just go to the store and get more bbq sauce. Unless I was truly so bored there was nothing else to do.

I have never heard of that. Ketchup and coca cola that could make an interesting combination. I don't know if I would ever try it or not maybe some day if I am bored. I have a bottle of barbecue sauce in the fridge I think I will stick with that for awhile. Let me know if you try it and what is taste like.

Well this Lady I use to work for tld me to try it, I never tried it but I will one day! I might even try it tommorow. She is a good cook too, i would try it only in emergency though Lol.

Since they both have a ton of flavor, why not? I have
never tried it but may just do so. I have heard of
cola added to a meatloaf and wonder if thats good.
No harm to try something like that once in a while.
