That's funny because I was researching on lakatan bananas last night which is really just a few hours ago because I woke up at 3am and could not go back to sleep. One of the sites or a couple of them, I could not be sure now did have mention of banana bread and what the good varieties are for banana bread. Is this the same as banana cake?

I've never heard of banana cake. It sounds interesting though. I found a bunch of recipes for babana bread and made a list of them. Then I picked one recipe and made two loaves yesterday. It was sooooooooooooooooooo good. :)
