they pay you, they pay me not

I'd like to rant a little... or a lot, we'll see. so there's this PTC site named incomebux that I joined a couple months ago. this site was one of the first PTC I joined, so I admit I did not do any background check before joining. I saw the cute logo, the amount of ads, the $1 payout and joined immediately. the first month I was doing pretty good, almost reached payout and then 1 day they just disappeared without any notice. darn... at that time it was one of my favorites. Then, after a few weeks of no incomebux, I stumbled upon the site from a forum and it turns out they changed they're hosting and s now using a paid domain (oh yeah, they previously used free hosting). logged-in, checked my account, and all my earnings are still there. During incomebux's absence, I started finding negative comments of that site saying they don't pay, they're scams, etc. but at the same time, some people are saying they do pay, showing proof of payment. So me and my overly trusting nature, i thought "oh well, so maybe they're a bit unprofessionally managed. they are new." and clicked on until I finally reached payout. When I was about to request payout through AlertPay, they made an announcement saying we had to re-register our AlertPay account and so I did but had some trouble registering. I contacted them, and after almost a week they replied saying they fixed the problem. and I thought "okay, so maybe they're a bit slow, but they did reply and assisted". So I finally requested payout. In their TOS they said payout will take 3 weeks. I waited for a month, nothing. I checked my history and to my surprise they deleted my pending payment request. I contacted them, nothing. why? at this point I've lost all my trust and I don't even care to ask. but still, some people are saying they are getting paid. turns out that the paid people are mostly big well-known promoters of PTC sites and I guess they do that to keep getting people to sign up. tricky people them, incomebux. Recently I noticed that there are other sites where some people get paid and some people don't and seems like the same case, they mostly pay big promoters and ignore the little fishes (that would include myself). what has become of the PTCs? Looks like there is definitely no such thing as easy money. now I feel like I have to work myself up to be a big PTC promoter to increase my chances of being paid pocket change. it's nuts, but I can't help it. I will not give up, even for pocket change. ok, that's all... turned out to be a lot
