Lemon or no lemon in tea when dining out?

Do you use lemon or say no to it when dining out because you are worried about germs and bacteria on the lemon skins. I have a group of friends and we meet once a week for lunch. Everyone of them refuses lemon in their tea for this reason but they always load the cup down with "dirty ice." Ice and soda nozzles in a restaurant are the two items that are known to contain the most bacteria. I laugh at them and order a bottled water and I only drink bottled water if I am in a restaurant. So do you ask for lemon or stay away from it for because of health concerns?

The only time I ever put lemon in tea is when I hae a bad headcold or chestcold, at which point I also add honey. The rest of the time I just drink tea plain, or Russian tea with raspberries and sugar in it.
