need help promoting events in town

this is for anyone in montreal or who knows a lot of people in montreal!
i'm looking for someone to help grow my social network in order to promote live musical events. i work with a lot of indie bands and would like to have many more people showing up at our events, but my network is only so large ;)
so anyone who can gimme a hand by spreading the word, inviting people, getting folks to listen to the bands' myspace pages, etc...would be SO greatly appreciated!!!
there might be some freebie tickets in it for you :)

I wish to help you. I don't know even one person in Montreal.
Can you place note on Craig List?
I am sure many people are checking Craig list often and they can come to your event.
You can offer one free ticket for any group of 5 people.
I would call local shelter and offer some fee tickets for promotion. They can sell tickets for small profit.
In general non for profit are very helpful.

Maybe offering few free tickets can help/
Create solution for people to respond.
Can you get bank or airlines to sponsor the event and have one ticket on lottery?
