Anybody have Pomeranians?

My daughter recently got a Pommie when her dad's dog had puppies. I am having a hard time housebreaking and training her. I have a Peke who was a breeze to train. I mean he just loves to please and is real smart. I've not made up mind about whether the pommie yet...lol. I finally got her to sit and shake, but housebreaking is starting to concern me. Anybody have pommies? How was your experience training them?

My G-parents had a toy pomeranian named Smokey, he was house trained, we lived in the country so when he wanted to go out he just went to the door we let him out when he was finished he scratched on the door and we let him in. But i have no idea how hard he was to get that way.

Thanks for the best response. I am sorry that you didn't get more responses. I was no help but i was hoping someone could give you an answer. Have you tried watching "the Dog whisperer", he gives good advice on different ways to train them.
