I'm reading this great work by Winston Groom currently. I think it's entirely different from the movie adapted from it except for the plot. The book is mainly ironic while the movie reflects the emotions of human. Also the book is easy-to-understand and readable. Please share our own experiences and opinions.

i had, but it was a long time ago that i cant recall it that well now, i still remember most of the scenes in the movie, the movie is just that good, almost like unforgetable, i remember though that i didn't like the novel after finishing reading it, he isn't that dumb in the novel compares to the movie, well the novel tell the story that he is that dumb, but it has a lot of accidents that had make forrest appear brilliant in it, i mean that can happen yes, accidently doing things that make you look smart, but that doen'st happen a lot, in the novel it does to forrest, i i kinda dont like it, its a bit unrealistic i think, now the movie has minimize that, and choose only the part that are you know pretty much convincing that it can happen to such a person like forrest gump, the movie is simpler, its funny too but it wasnt attempting to be funny, i think the greatest you know aspect of the movie, the one that they realy use to sell the movie is its heart, its simple but it isnt you know blank, empty, it helps that it is also so damn hilarious, but i think thats the main content of the movie, now the novel dont have that you know, like a line to follow, its sporadic, its trying to hard to be witty, i just dont like it, im glad that ive seen the movie first
