This afternoon i chat with my younger sister online, and she told me that my parents are planning to adopt a boy who has lost his parents in the Wenchuan earthquake. Let me tell you something more.. I have a younger sister and a younger brother now. And this younger brother is adopted by my parents too! That means my parents want one more adopted child! My whole family are cheerful to my parents decision coz all of us welcome children very much! and what about you? do you have any experience in adopting children? And if your family is going to adopt one, what's your point about that? will you support that or against that? and one more question, will you adopt children when you are possible to do so?

It is wonderful that your parents are planning to adopt a boy who lost his parents in the earthquake. It will be lovely for the boy to become part of a loving family. It is great when children without a home are given a place within a caring atmosphere. In China I know that there are many children that are waiting to be adopted. Sadly it is a difficult and lengthy process to be accepted as an adoptive parent. I am a primary school teacher and I have taught some adopted children. Most have had a challenging beginning to their lives. I thought that it was sad when one girl was taken away from her foster parents and wished that they should have been able to adopt her. One lady adopted two boys and a girl, the two oldest children had very demanding behavior. If it was easier to do so I would choose to adopt a girl or two girls. I would be happy to adopt a girl of say five years old whilst many people only wish to adopt a baby or a toddler. Good luck to your parents with the adoption.

What your parents are going to do is so very kind. It is a very good idea for them to adopt the little boy. They will balance your family and the boy will get a loving home. So that is fantastic. My sister has natually born children: a boy 11, a boy 8, a girl 5 and a girl almost 2. People comment that her family is balanced. I wish my family could be balanced with a girl or girls.

In fact I also have this plan. This earthquake disaster created many orphans and I am so sorry for them. Especially they lost families and they are still so little. I have a child, so I can understand this feeling. I would like to adopt a little girl, so I can have one boy and one girl and that's perfect. I've looked at the adopting conditions and I am afraid I am not qualified with it, since I already have my own child. The adopting requirements are very strict. I think it's good, but sometimes it may also give people troubles to adopt a child. I do have this kind of will. I love China

its LOVELY THOUGHT ...nice of your parents to do that...i have my son who is 2 years old now....i sometimes think instead of getting another kid if i had enough money i would surely adopt a baby girl....cause in some parts of the world there is still where people dont want the girl child....so lets see how things go...but your parents are simply GREAT....good job :)

Me and my fiance have never adopted a child,we want to have one of our own one day,but I dont see anything wrong with someone who does want to adopt a child, aslong as they treat it right, and take care of it as if it was their own flesh and blood.
