do you smile when you meet people in vigils?

i've been to vigil just this evening and i just met my classmate.
she was a friend of the corpse' daughter.
and yee, i smiled at her. and when we left, i smiled to the wife.. x_x
do you often do this? cause i myself think that its offensive or something..

It depends on the smile. If you give an encouraging one or a bashful one, it's not offensive. If you have a big grin, now that would be offensive.
