tagging

tagging is important. That is whay mylot asks to tag. But it is not essential as there is a skip option. tagging essentially helps for future searching purpose. Try searching in the search box and there will be option to search in either tags or in text. As text search is heavy so tag searches are better and faster. As the author has the ability to tag so author knows exactly what his/her discussion is about. So it is always better to tag. But if you find some discussion is already tagged adequetely then I do not believe there is any help tagging it further. happy mylotting.

I only tag if I start a discussion I don't tag if I respond to a discussion as I feel the person who started the discussion tagged it they way they wanted it tagged.

I tag my discussion and response too all the time.

i always tag my post specially on my comments, i put tag on it so that i will go directly to the post similar to my discussions or comments or related topics. i like tagging in mylot because it helps me to find related topics that was being posted.

I didn't use to tag at all but then I realized how important they are to searches. I want to say tahnks to whoever pointed that out to me.

I do tag all of my posts and responses. I'm not really sure yet of the importance of this tagging, but a lot of experts here says it's important, so there you go LOL! I guess I'm just get used to tagging everytime I post. It won't take much of the time anyway so...

Well i think that naming the Discussions is really important for responses... But not the responses...
