Easier way to find interests?

I hate wading through the pools of interests until something I'm looking for finally pops up. Is there a better way? A search tool, perhaps? If so, what, where, and how?

At the top of the page you will see a search box. You can type in a subject you like. You can choose where to search for it. On mylot in general, in the discussions, blogs etc. Do that and you will be given a list of things. Open one and you will be given the option to add it to your list of interests. Hope this helps!

Maybe I was not clear enough. I've found that if I type in a topic I am interested in and have it search discussions it will come up with a list of those discussions. When you open one of those discussions you will have the opportunity to have it added on your lists if it isn't on there already. That's about as clear as I can make it.
I sort of "discovered" this on my own the other day when I also didn't want to wade through all those interests for such a long time.
