Thats me! Ok I have had some success with flowers but they soon die too. I tried vegetables this season and before I ever even got them established enough to go outside they died. I need some serious help and advice on how to help my flowers and plants prosper. I love to keep the look of my yard up. But it doesnt look so pretty when there are dead flowers everywhere. Now something that I have had some success at thus far is my Rose Bushes. I only had one die on me but it was weak when I put it in the ground and I had my doubts about it. The others are doing very well at this time, and I have had to pay little attention to them. Everyone I have talked to said that roses were too much work. I dont think so. For me it seems to be the easiest thing I have ever grown. Not only do they smell pretty they are beautiful to look at.

I am not a gardener either, I have always though roses to be very hardy, I was told by a friend it is good to look around your own area to see what does well in your climate and another good thing to watch is check what your local councils plant in public gardens they usually plant easy to care for plants... I live near a cemetery and they plant nice spreading daisy type plants and they look very nice, I was there one day when the workmen were there and I ask them if I could take a couple of bits from the roots and they said I could and they grew really well doubling in weeks and now they are everywhere...goodluck with your garden and welcome to Mylot...
