My husband caught crabs

My husband caught crabs and he gave them to me. He then caught some more and gave them to the children. We went to Pensacola beach for our family vacation. We had a blast. we went snorkeling of the bay side beach and saw fish, one that looked like a dog fish puffer, hermit crabs, big crabs hiding under rocks, star fish, my daughter swam over a ray and my husband and daughter both seen what they thought was flounders. Unfortunately me and the boys didn't get to see the flounder or ray. Later in the week we all went out on the beach at night and my husband caught sand crabs. they were neat. They ran sideways really fast. He caught one gave it to me, I screamed and dropped it because it was to much like a spider for me to want it crawling up my arm. He then caught some more for the kids to get to hold. One pinched my son and he screamed like a girl lol it was funny. My husband caught a big one and chased the kids around with it. we had a blast. The sand was also really cool because at night as you walk across it it makes glow like sparks. It was really neat to see that. My only regret from the trip was not having a water proof camera to get pics from our snorkeling adventure. I can't wait till we get to go back.

I live in Pensacola, and the beaches here are AWESOME! I have to say that I don't get out there as much as I would like to. The Destin, Florida, area is also beautiful, but I have never seen beaches with sands as white as the ones here on Pensacola Beach. I would definitely recommend Pensacola Beach for anyone looking for a vacations spot.

You are so lucky. To live there must be wonderful. We hit Destin as well and that day we were there the water was so blue and crystal clear you could see dolphins swimming by the bridge we were crossing. I have not been to many places yet in my life but I will say that Pensacola has the whitest sand and prettiest beaches I have ever seen. The first time I went to Pesacola Beach the water was the bluest and prettiest I had ever seen. But this time Destin had the prettiest bluest water. I love Pensacola also because the people are so nice and friendly there. I agree that Pensacola Beach is a great vacation spot. I Hope that I can get my kids grown and God willing retire myself to Pensacola Beach.

That sounds FUN! indeed crabs are very fast of digging the sand and hide. Your husband is very handy to catch them. I can imagine ho happy you and your family are. You should do that often :D

It was very fun and those crabs are like lightening fast lol. I wish we could afford to do that more often. Our closest beach is about 10 hours away. Maybe next year we will get to do it again. Gives us things to look forward to.
